Natasha from Melbourne, who uses the online name “Effective Spaces”, shared an instructional video showing how to create the perfect bow with just one ribbon and your fingers.
She began the clip by wrapping the red ribbon around her forefingers. Next, she used her other hand to wrap it three more times between her fingers.
These decorations are wonderful for decorating Christmas tables and trees. However, I personally would not use them for gifts because they are sticky! Natasha wrote the caption.
DIY projects are a great alternative to spending up to $8 on decorative bows.
She began the clip by wrapping the red ribbon around her forefingers. Then, she used her other hand to wrap it three more times between her fingers.
The longer end was then slipped through the opening in the middle between two fingers, and wrapped around the wrist.
After tightening the center of the ribbon, she gently pulled it down and then slid the ribbon over her fingers to form the bow.
Finally, pull the second strand down so that it meets the first. The perfect little bow was created.
Left: The long end of ribbon was passed through the opening in the middle between two fingers. It was then looped around the wrist. She pulled the ribbon tighter by gently pulling on it. Then she took the ribbon out of her fingers and formed the sides for the bow.
This viral video was viewed over 1.8 million times, and hundreds of people have commented on it, praising its simplicity.
