Tinder is the most popular dating app in the world and its busiest day to swipe is right now.
February 2nd, also known as Dating Sunday is when the largest number of singles use the dating app to search for love.
Tinder suggests that singletons should log on between 7pm-10pm.
Tinder shared this blog post: “Just like midnight on NYE, the time to be dancing on the dancefloor and watching the fireworks or talking to your crush is 7-10pm on Dating Monday to discover a new love on the app.
“So you can cancel any other plans because Tinder should only be seen at prime time.
January 2nd is also known by Dating Sunday. It is the day when most singles sign up for the app in search of love.
Tinder, the most downloaded dating app in the world, has been downloaded over 450,000,000 times since its launch back in 2012.
App uses location-based technology that connects people with their profiles based upon the gender, distance, or orientation filters they have set.
To swipe right, users can click on any profile to see what they think of it. Or they can leave if they don’t like it.
Both users can swipe right to each other and it becomes a match. Then they can start messaging within Tinder.
Tinder doesn’t require users to connect online to find matches, however, it revealed its busiest days are January 2nd and peak hours between 7pm and 10 pm.
Laura Wilkinson Rea, Director, Communications UK, and Director, Comms Nordics, at Tinder, says that “With more than 430 million downloaded matches and over 60+ billion matches, singles know what they want and can find it in a match.”
Since its launch in 2012, Tinder has been downloaded over 450,000,000 times.
Let’s forget about resolutions we don’t keep. 2022 will be The Year of Ambition. It’s full of achievable goals that can be achieved.
Singletons are more likely to seek out partners this Sunday because they know sharing experiences can increase your chances of meeting someone.
“Then all the good things can be achieved throughout the entire year.”
Tinder announced that users will soon be able select from a set of 2022 Goals within their Explore pages, following Dating Sunday.
Tinder explained that Tinder will launch in January and allow Tinder members to choose from “2022 Goals”, which can be found in Explore, to search for a “partner in crime” to share their goals.
They may be looking to find a friend to “Taste Together”, a sport lover to “Sweat It Together”, or an entrepreneur to “Complete My Power Couple” for the New Year.
