Tom Hanks gives two brides a shock as he crashes their wedding in Santa Monica

He is one the most beloved living actors, with many classic performances. 

Tom Hanks used his winning charm to crash a couple’s Santa Monica wedding over the weekend.

The 65-year-old Oscar winner helped make Diciembre and Tashia Farries’ union even more special when he asked if he could snap a photo with them, according to FOX LA.

The couple had gathered their wedding on the shore with close friends and family. However, Tom approached the couple as the ceremony was about to end.

‘Everyone is saying, ‘There’s Tom Hanks!’ Tashia told the story in an interview, adding that she was shocked to see the actor.

He was particularly excited to discover that it was a similar-sex wedding in video shot on the shore.

‘Oh get out!’ He yelled. “My stock just exploded!” he yelled.

She recounted that her husband said, “I witnessed the ceremony from back then and it had to have been one of my most beautiful ceremonies ever seen.”

The Forrest Gump actor posed with the newlyweds as well as their one-year old son. He was cute in a burgundy shirt.

Tashia stated that Tom gave them some positive words and encouraged them all to keep the love alive.

Tashia is a private chef to a number celebrity clients. However, she was still left star struck after meeting Hanks. 

Diciembre’s surprise guest was the cherry atop a perfectly perfect day.

She said that her wedding was a reality. ‘To finally marry her — this was our day. Everyone we loved was there, and… Tom Hanks just walked up! He walked on this beach today, out among all the people and days. It was meant [to be].

She added that Tom’s celebration of their union also added a small bit of validation to their wedding.

‘For us to be two women — yes it’s 2021, but it’s just unfortunately not accepted everywhere yet. But it’s almost like he didn’t even see that,” she said. 

Tom’s presence felt even more like fate when Diciembre’s brother died in 2017.

His portrait was placed on a chair along with the rest of his family.

Tom shared Diciembre’s birthday when he told the star more about his brother.

She stated, “So he wasn’t there at the wedding, but Tom Hanks was his way to say he was there,”
