TikTok users debated whether coloring fur for pets is cruel.

Isa Beastly, a designer and hairstylist, said she saw other people dyeing their dogs’ fur on the app, so she decided to try it herself — a decision she’s soon come to regret.

She mixed orange and pink dye together hoping to turn her small, wire-haired terrier red, but instead turned animal bright pink and left blotches of dye all over her bathroom.

She shared the fiasco on TikTok and it quickly vent viral — but while some found the clip funny, other commenters are horrified by what she did to the ‘poor puppy.’

She shared the fiasco on TikTok and it quickly vent viral - however, it completely divided commenters and launched an intense disagreement about dyeing dogs' fur

It quickly became viral on TikTok, and she shared it with her friends. But it divided comments and ignited intense discussion about dog fur dyeing.

She explained that she saw a TikTok girl dye her dog and had been wanting to do the same for some time.

As she tried to clean the bathroom, she turned her camera around to see it covered in orange and pink dye. 

“Omg, my landlord will take my deposit. Please help me. Help me!’ she said.

Although the video seems to highlight the messy situation, many commenters focused their attention on the decision she made to dye her dog.

In another clip, Isa shared the final outcome — revealing that in the end, the dog was left with patches of red and orange all over its body.

Approving commenters insisted the pup looked 'cute' and 'adorable'

A few approving comments said the dog looked cute and adorable.

‘Don’t really know why you’re doing? Don’t risk it — get a well-respected, responsible professional groomer to dye your dog’s locks for you,’ the dog company wrote.

Pet-owners are reminded to not let the dye get into the eyes of their dog and never to use hair-dyeing on animals.
