This creature may have a striking resemblance with the frightening creation from the Will Smith blockbuster I, Robot.
This machine, however, is real and was billed as “the world’s most advanced” humanoid.
It is named Ameca and was made in Britain.

Impressive: This may look a lot like the frightening creation from the Will Smith film I, Robot. This is a real humanoid and it has been called the “world’s most advanced”.

It is named Ameca and features eerily real facial expressions.
Engineered Arts from Cornwall, which claims to be the UK’s foremost designer and manufacturer for humanoid entertainment robotics, has unveiled its machine via YouTube. It was met with great excitement.
Many people were amazed at the machines ability to look so human and real.
One user said, “I know AI is scary but I have never been scared by this gynoid.” It is quite cool.
Another one said that the eyes are what make it all possible. It is easy to forget how vital eyes are in determining whether something looks alive.
“The quick movement, focus, blinking and attention that they seem to give to what is important to them.
An additional comment was made: “I honestly thought this was CGI initially. Great work! Your hands are also very well done.
Many people compared Ameca’s story to I, Robot’s NS-5 series. This science fiction film starred Will Smith and depicts how intelligent robots take over public services in a future dystopic world.
The robot can be seen warming up on its shoulder before opening its eyes to reveal a convincing expression of surprise or shock.
The machine arm even blinks multiple time and it observes the other with curiousity.

Many people were amazed at the machines humanlikeness and realisticity.
Ameca holds out her hand to admire its mixture of mechanical limbs and actuators.
Although it is realistic, and its expressions are at the top of their field, the next challenge will come in enabling robots to move around.
Engineered Arts said it was still a long way off that, but added that the face is housed on a ‘human-like artificial body (AI x AB)’ that boasts a ‘powerful Tritium robot operating system’.
The robot’s cost has yet to be revealed as the project is still under development.

Many people compared Ameca (pictured) to the NS-5 series of I, Robot (pictured), a sci-fi film starring Will Smith in which intelligent robots take over public service jobs in a dystopian society.
Ameca is a follower of Sophia’s development, first appearing in 2016. A super intelligent human-like, highly-intelligent head that can blink, see from one side to the other and speak.
Hanson robotics in Hong Kong created the humanoid robot that can chat and smile mischievously. It even has the ability to tell jokes.
Oct 2017, was the moment when the robot became legal citizens of Saudi Arabia.
Engineered Arts hopes Ameca can offer a glimpse at the future, as it “represents an advanced human-robotics tech”
Ameca was created specifically to be a platform for future robotics technology development, the company stated on its website.
“We are focused on providing innovative technologies that are flexible, reliable, modular and upgradable, as well as easy development.
Engineered Arts was founded in 2005. Its first robot was a stage-sized mechanical “Thespian”.
