Yasmin and Simon Le Bon have stated they don’t need to renew vows since their 36-year-old ‘ramshackle’ wedding.

The Duran Duran singer married the supermodel in 1985.

In a new interview with The Sun, the 57-year-old has even suggested that Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, 45, should portray Simon, 63, in the upcoming biopic charting the successful career of the hit 80s band.

In December, the British-Iranian model will be celebrating her first anniversary with the singer.

Their three children are Amber, Saffron and Tallulah, who have both 32-years-old, respectively.

“We considered it many years ago. But now, I really don’t see how I would be able to put together a party. It would just be an ad-hoc kind of thing, and we couldn’t be a*****,’ she said in an interview.

“I think that part of our reason we’re still together, is because we had an utterly chaotic wedding.”

The film, which was announced last month, will detail how Simon shot to fame as part of the new wave band Duran Duran, alongside keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor, and drummer Roger Taylor.

Andy Taylor (guitarist) was the last member of the commercially successful lineup. There have been numerous other changes to the line-up over the years.

Duran Duran was one of the greatest bands of 1980s and has seen their popularity continue for the past three decades.

Since 1978 when they formed the group in Birmingham, the band has sold more than 100,000,000 records and 14 singles have reached the top 10 in the UK Singles Chart.

Simon said last week that the group would use drugs to pay for hotel rooms during their 80s heyday.

Simon, speaking on Alan Carr’s podcast Life’s A Beach Monday, said that the band ordered’substances at room service’ while partying at Sunset Marquis Los Angeles.

After marrying Yasmin Parvaneh (model), the Save a Prayer singer said things ‘quickly turned’ and that his drinking habits were a distant memory.

Yasmin was one of the highest-earning models during the 1980s and appeared on the covers of about 300 magazines from across the globe including the first issues of British and American Elle and three issues of Italian Vogue.

Neben her outstanding career, she also has a happy and fulfilled family in south London. Simon was her first date after he took her picture during a shoot.

Yasmin mentioned in an earlier interview that having a stable marriage, a career with success and 3 daughters came at a cost. She also said that friends are often left behind.

‘I’ve had to accept that if you work, travel and have a family, you can’t keep friendships up. “Anybody thinking they can without running themselves into the ground is wrong,” she said to Easy Living. ‘One day friends will realise why you couldn’t always be there.’
