A father of a teenage drive by murderer has gushed with pride while praising his son’s prison photo.
Taylor Meanley (17) from Mexborough, South Yorkshire was sentenced to a minimum 27 years in prison for shooting Lewis Williams, a rival gang member, in the neck during a drive by killing earlier this year.
Meanley posted a photo of himself on Facebook while he waited to be sentenced. The caption was: “Just a prison picture of me.”
Writing on his son’s post, father Mike Meanley said he was ‘so proud’ of the murderer and told Taylor to ‘f*** them all’.

Taylor Meanley was in the passenger seat in a blue Jaguar Jaguar when he fired his homemade shotgun, which killed Lewis Williams in Mexborough on the 11th of January 2021.
Williams was targeted due to his connections with a Yorkshire-based gang called the ‘Pitsmoor Shotta Boys.
Prosecutors described Meanley’s actions as he drove down Wath Road in Meanley, hunting Mr Williams as a ‘planned execution’. Later, the car was found in Bolton upon Dearne.
Williams was declared dead on the spot by members of the public, even though they attempted to revive him.
Meanley was sentenced last month to a minimum term in prison of 27 years at Sheffield Crown Court for Williams’s murder.
He will also serve a concurrent 13-year sentence in connection with possession of a firearm intended to endanger lives.
Sandra Williams, Mr Williams’ mother, stated that her family was ‘totally broken without their son’.

Lewis Williams, 20, was killed in an earlier shooting at a Farmfoods supermarket near Mexborough, Doncaster.

In a statement she shared following Meanley’s sentencing, Meanley said that losing a child was something no parent should have to experience. She felt lost and like a part of her is missing. I don’t know how I’m going to ever fix this.
Detective Chief Insp James Axe, of South Yorkshire Police, said: ‘I would like to offer my condolences to Lewis’ family and thank them for their continued support throughout these proceedings.
“I hope that the sentences handed down today by the judge will provide some comfort.
“The recklessness of the events of the 11th January 2021 threatened Lewis’ life, as well as his associates, and the wider public who were going about their legal business.
Claire MacDonald, CPS, stated that this was a calculated and cold-blooded drive by gangland shooting that took place at rush hour on Wath road.
“The prosecution team worked tirelessly to gather evidence to bring the murderers of Lewis Williams to justice.
“In his evidence during the trial the 17 year old admitted pointing the weapon, but claimed that he only meant to scare the victim and thought the gun wouldn’t go off.
“All four defendants are beginning extremely long prison sentences. We hope this will provide some comfort for Lewis Williams’ family.”
