Metropolitan Police apologized to the mother of two sisters who were stabbed to death in a London park by a teenage Satanist for its ‘unacceptable’ investigation.
Bibaa Henry (46), and Nicole Smallman (21), were stabbed more then 30 times in a horrible and unprovoked attack as they were celebrating Ms Henry’s birthday at Wembley’s Fryent Country Park in early June last year.
Ms Smallman’s boyfriend found their bodies in undergrowth two days after they were reported missing to police.
An Independent Office for Police investigation into the Met’s missing persons inquiry found no evidence that discrimination was present.

Channel 4 News reports that Mina Smallman was formally reprimanded by the force for providing an unacceptable service’.
The mother, who was devastated, told the program that despite the findings by the police watchdog, there had been racism in the missing persons investigation.
She said, “No one was taking this seriously.” Police did not conduct a search. Our phone calls were being disregarded.
‘There was no action at all… Biba wasn’t even on as a missing person on the Sunday after we’d made calls on the Saturday. It’s shameful. It’s shocking.
“They knew from the beginning that they were looking for two girls, and two women of color. I’m trying to figure it out.
“Why they didn’t follow procedure.” What could be the explanation?
Adam Stone, Ms Smallman’s boyfriend, became worried after he hadn’t heard from her. He and his family reported them missing at 9pm.
However, police didn’t begin searching for them until June 7, at 12.30pm. By that time, Mr Stone had made the terrible discovery.
Mina said, “The time for apologies has long gone.”
MailOnline maps show where police were called on June 7th at 1pm to investigate reports of two unresponsive women.

Two officers who were accused of sharing photos of the bodies of the sisters’ bodies with police officers said they were’sorry for the pain they’ve caused’ after being arrested earlier this year for misconduct in public office.
Pc Deniz Jaffer (47), and Pc Jamie Lewis (32), are accused of taking ‘nonofficial and inappropriate photos’ at the crime scene and then sharing them on WhatsApp between 7 June 23 2020 and 23 June 23, 2020.
Mina stated to BBC that Mina’s children were ‘dehumanized by the images’ at the time.
Both PC Jamie Lewis & PC Deniz Jaffer were charged with misconduct while in office
Danyal Hussein (19), randomly targeted Nicole and Bibaa while they took selfies with fairy light.
Hussein had made a previous blood pact, agreeing to’sacrifice’ women in return for the lottery win.
Hussein was linked to the murder via DNA and CCTV evidence. Hussein was then arrested at his mother’s house, where officers made disturbing discoveries in Hussein’s bedroom.
The blood pact that stated he would kill and evade police attention was found with other Satanic symbols.
