After they tied the knot, Jeremy spoke to The Sun and said that it was their sixth attempt after all the Covid postponements and cancellations. They were able to enjoy the day they had longed for.
Jeremy, who had returned to work earlier in the year as a presenter for the drivetime slot on TalkRadio added: ‘Vick’s been my rock when I was down. It was wonderful to see her having so much fun and enjoying the wedding of her dreams.
It comes after Jeremy credited his fiancée with saving him after sinking to ‘his lowest’ when his ITV show was cancelled following a guest’s suicide.
Speaking to The Sun, he praised Vicky for her assistance during his dark days, which peaked when he turned to anxiety medication to alleviate his depression.
He said, “She’s seen me at the best and lowest point of my life, and still wants me to marry her.” She is the love and joy of my life, and I am very fortunate to have her as my wife.
Jeremy, who has four children from two previous marriage and a son with Vicky, has been dating Vicky – his children’s former nanny – since 2017 and became engaged the following February.

Jeremy revealed that he spiralled into depression and had to take pills for anxiety after his show was cancelled following a guest’s death.
After being ‘completely devastated’ by losing his job, the former daytime TV host stated that he couldn’t leave his home or open the curtains.
After Steven Dymond, 63 years old, failed a lie detector test during filming of an episode of the show, the show was cancelled in May 2019. The show was not broadcast.
Kyle broke his silence about the axing and said that he felt ‘awful” at being made a scapegoat over the death, adding that accusations ‘often seemed only to be directed at me’.
Speaking about Vicky’s role in helping his recovery, he said: ‘I could not have done it without her — she’s just been so balanced and grounded and supportive…
“She’s not from that TV universe and her advice has really helped to put things in perspective. Vic deserves a lot of credit for getting me back on track.
“She has seen me at my best, and at the lowest point of my life, and she still wants me to marry her.” She is the love and joy of my life, and I am very fortunate to have her as my wife.
He spoke about the aftermath of the show and how he was treated. But I was only the face of it.
The star lost his job on The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2005 and became depressed.
“Every ounce energy seemed to have disappeared and I just couldn’t bring myself to leave my house or open the curtains.
“I used think “get a grip” when celebrities talked about such problems. I suddenly realized I couldn’t always do that and they would affect my life like they did.
Before the show was cancelled, Kyle had already been through a series professional and personal setbacks.
In 2012, he was diagnosed as having testicular cancer. He then lost his US version of the show a year later.

He also had a very public separation from his wife Carla in 2016. This was often picked up by guests who wanted to retaliate against Kyle’s personal questions.
Jeremy has a daughter Harriet, 30 years old, with Kirsty Rowley his first wife. They were married in 1989 and divorced in 1991. With the birth of Harriet’s child, Jeremy became a grandfather for the first time in 2018.
After 14 years of marriage, he had children, Alice, 17, Ava (15), and Henry, 11 with his second wife Carla.

Tragedy: The show ended in May 2019, after Steven Dymond, aged 63 (pictured), was believed to have taken his own life less than a month after failing a lie detector exam while filming an episode.
It was however, he says, his fiancée Vicky who encouraged him to see a doctor after the axing and he was diagnosed with anxiety disorder.
Kyle believes that the diagnosis is what helped him get back up and’start rebuilding things’.
Kyle, who is believed plan to return to television with a series, offered his condolences to Mr Dymond’s family. He described Dymond’s death as a “terrible tragedy”.
Former flame: Jeremy was previously married with Carla Kyle. However, they divorced in 2016, after 14 years of marriage.
After filming his episode, Mr Dymond, a contractor, succumbed to morphine. He also had an underlying problem with his heart.
He applied to be on the show to prove he had not cheated on his ex — but failed a lie-detector test.
Family members said that the events of the show were too much for him.
The inquest into the death of the victim is ongoing.
Kyle stated that he would not comment on the death or the circumstances surrounding it at this time, but that he would do so ‘when the time is right and it’s appropriate’.
