Parker said about the new Airbnb: “The Carrie Bradshaw character was near and dear to me, and revisiting her world for the continuation in the Sex and the City tale has been such joy.”

Sex and the City was based on Candace Bushnell’s bestselling books. It followed the life and times Carrie and her friends.

Carrie’s brownstone apartment was central to the series, and its décor has now been painstakingly recreated by Parker, Airbnb, and a small, New York-based production team.

The character’s famous walk-in wardrobe, her writing desk, and her bedroom appear almost exactly as they did in the cult series.

Parker playing Carrie in the original series. The launch of the Airbnb marks 23 years since fans were first introduced to the show

Parker portrays Carrie in the original series. The 23-year anniversary of the original series’ debut marks the launch of Airbnb.

Sex and the City showed Carrie’s apartment from the exterior. It was located at 64 and 66 Perry Street in Manhattan’s West Village. Silvercup Studios in Queens also captured the interior scenes.

Airbnb used another New York apartment for recreation that had a similar floorplan as Carrie’s.

The new Airbnb was created in honor of the premiere of And Just Like That …, next month, a 10-episode revival on Sex and the City. It will air on HBO Max and Sky Comedy.

Parker, Kristin and Cynthia Nixon will be reprising their roles in the series. However, Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, the publicity dynamo, declined to take part.

The collaboration between Airbnb and Warner Bros Consumer Products was the Airbnb project. It also marks 23 years since the first time that fans were introduced to the show.

Parker will host up to two guests for a one-night stay on November 12th and 14, at $23 per night.

Fans can request to book these stays from noon on Monday, November 8, at airbnb.com/sexandthecity. Only residents of the United States can book.
